ASC certification
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible aquaculture. Established in 2012, ASC developed the world’s most rigorous sustainability standard for farmed seafood. By setting high environmental and social benchmarks, ASC drives positive change throughout the seafood industry.
To achieve ASC certification, farms undergo extensive audits against over 400 criteria. This stringent process ensures that certified salmon is produced responsibly, with minimal impact on the environment and local communities.
Br. Karlsen is proud to be ASC certified, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable aquaculture. For more information, please visit the ASC website.
